Allan McKinnon is an elder at Greenview Evangelical Church, Glasgow. He served as a missionary in Tanzania for more than 15 years (’95-’10). His areas of ministry have included preaching and teaching the Bible, local church leadership, training and discipling and translation work helping provide good Christian resources to the Swahili speaking church. He is now Academic Dean at Tilsley College, Motherwell where his educational input is in the areas of Biblical Studies, Christian Doctrine and Mission.
Berea Bible College and Moshi Christian Children’s Centre are two institutions with which Allan and Jacqui have been closely associated.
Allan and Jacqui have three children, Judith, Jonathan and Ben and four grandchildren, Miriam, Ethan, Keira and Abigail. Judith is married to Ash and Jonathan to Lynsey.
Singida Rocks
The header picture was taken on the way from Singida back to Moshi after a trip to visit and teach in churches in that area. These outcrops of rock are common in the area which is otherwise flat and deserted.
